The airline said that due to flooding, the airport will remain closed till at least Wednesday, August 29, 2018.
Giving details of the impacted flights, which were previously scheduled to be operated through the Cochin International Airport, Kochi, Vistara said: "We will, however, be operating our COK (Kochi) flights to and from TRV (Trivandrum) Terminal 1 during this period in order to provide customers with an option to get within driving distance of COK."Our impacted flights are UK883 and UK885 Delhi (DEL)-Kochi (COK), UK882 and UK886 COK-DEL, UK774 Chennai (MAA)-COK, UK731 COK-MAA, all of which have been cancelled for the period August 15 through August 29 (both dates inclusive), the airline said. Here are five things to know:1.
The airline said the customers with bookings of the impacted flights have the option of flying to and from Trivandrum (TRV) instead through a rebooking, taking full refund without paying any cancellation charges, or use the existing booking within 10 days of opening of the Cochin airport without paying any change (reschedule) fee.2.

and the cancellation waivers are extended up to and including 5 Sept 18.3.
Rebook to fly to/from Trivandrum instead of Kochi: Vistara said the customers can be rebooked, if they so request, to fly to/from Trivandrum instead of Kochi, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
In this case, the customer will not be charged any fee or fare difference.
Vistara will however not be providing transportation between TRV and COK or whatever the customers' final destination is, that will be solely the customers' responsibility, it added.4.Cancel booking: The airline said it will provide full refund for the cancelled flights till September 5, 2018.
The customer will get a full refund and will not be charged a cancellation fee.5.Take alternative flight to/from Kochi once the airport opens: Vistara said the customer can cancel the existing booking, get a full refund, and make a fresh booking for a future date.
Use your existing booking for a future date within 10 days of COK airport re-opening, in which case we will not charge a change fee or fare difference, Vistara added.
For using the existing booking after 10 days of opening of the airport, the customer will not be charged a change fee.
However, the fare difference, if any, will be applicable, it noted.Vistara had earlier this month moved its Kochi operations to Trivandrum, after suspension of operations at the Kochi airport.
