The domestic equity markets caught on to the global fever as both the equity benchmarks cracked in early trade on Thursday.
The SP BSE Sensex sunk as much as 1,037.36 points and the Nifty50 hit 10,138.60 level, 321.5 points below its previous close.
The Sensex opened at 34,063.82 and the Nifty at 10,169.80.
