A collection of discourses on enhancing Party conduct by Xi Jinping, basic secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, has been released by the Central Party Literature Press.Compiled by the Institute of Party History and Literature of the CPC Central Committee, the book includes 9 themes, bringing together 299 excerpts extracted from over 130 of Xis important speeches and written works from November 2012 to February 2025.
Some of these works have actually been revealed for the first time.Since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012, the CPC Central Committee, with Xi Jinping at its core, developed and has been carrying out the eight-point choice on improving conduct, resulting in substantial improvements in Party conduct, social morality and private virtues.Xis discourses in this regard are of terrific significance for regularly and sustainably enhancing Party conduct, exercising Party self-governance with the spirit of reform and rigorous standards, and ensuring that the Party remains the strong leadership core in structure socialism with Chinese characteristics.(Cover: A sculpture installed at a CPC Party school in Shenyang, China, September 19, 2023./ VCG)
