
Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, bid farewell to General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam on Tuesday.Xi said that although the visit was short, it achieved substantial outcomes.
During the visit, both leaders reaffirmed their political commitment to advancing the cause of socialism and expressed expectations to comprehensively promote bilateral strategic cooperation.
They also discussed their shared stance on resisting external risks and challenges, as well as safeguarding regional peace, stability and international justice."I have full confidence in the prospect of China-Vietnam relations," Xi said.
