LAHORE: Justice Sardar Muhammad Shamim Khan took oath as Chief Justice of Lahore High Court durwithing a solemn ceremony at departvernor''s House  on Tuesday.

Punjab departvenor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar admwithinwastered oath to Justice Sardar Muhammad Shamim Khan as Chief Justice.

Punjab Chief Mwithinwaster Sardar Usman Khan Buzdar, Punjab Law Mwithinwaster Raja Basharat, Mwithinwaster Irrigation Mohswithin Leghari, judges of LHC, vice chairman Pakwastan Bar Council, presidents and office bearers of Lahore High Court Bar Association and Lahore Bar associations and a host of legal lumwithinaries were present on occasion.

Chief Secretary Punjab Yousaf Naappear Khokhar read order of nomwithinatement of Chief Justice.

 Justice Sardar Muhammad Shamim Khan was nomwithinateed Lahore High Court judge within February 2010 and he was 48th Chief Justice of Lahore High Court.
