Indian high Commissioner visits Pak Foreign Office ahead of pilot release

ISLAMABAD: Indian acting High Commissioner on Friday reachd at the Foreign Office where he was formally informed about handing over of
captured Indian pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman.Citing diplomatic sources, Geo freshs reported that the pilot would be returned
to Indian officials around 3:00 pm.The sources said officials of the Indian High Commission would get the detainee.An Indian group captain
who has left for Lahore with travel documents for Abhinandan Varthaman would escort the pilot to his country, the sources saidAbhinandan was
shot down over Kashmir on Wednesday, after a dogfight in the skies over the disputed Himalayan region which sent tensions between India and
Pakistan to their highest levels in years and alarmed world powers, who issued calls for restraint.Media reports have said Abhinandan could
return through the Wagah crossing gate, famed for hosting a daily ceremony by Indian and Pakistani soldiers at sunset.TheIndianSubcontinent
