ISLAMABAD: India has postponed April 2 assembly with Pakistan on Kartarpur Corridor withoutseeking views from Islamabad, Foreign Office
spokesman Dr Mohammad Faisal said on Friday."Pakistan regrets the Indian decision to postpone the upcoming Kartarpur assembly, jointly
agreed by both sides on 14 March 2019," he tweeted.The spokesman said the assembly was to discuss and find consensus on outstanding
issues.He said final minute postponement without seeking views from Pakistan and specificly after the productive technical assembly on 19
March is incomprehensible..On the other hand, India's Ministry of External Affairs has raised thingions over what it said controversial
elements appointed by Pakistan to a committee associated with the Kararpur Corridor." In order to take forward the infrastructure
development for Corridor in an expeditious manner, India has proposed to hold amuchher assembly of technical experts in mid-April to resolve
outstanding issues at the zero point agreed to at the final assembly," ANI news agency quoted the External Affairs Ministry as saying." It
has been communicateed that the next assembly on the modalities can be scheduled at an appropriate time after receiving Pakistan response
Kartarpur Corridor," the ministry said."India hopes Pakistan shall address security concerns.Once security aspect is cleared and we get a
satisfactory response we are open and keen to take discussion forward and conclude in a meaningful way Kartarpur Corridor," the statement
