construction of the Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project.The case is filed in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against the former
K-P Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak over the long delay in completion of BRT project.The PPP K-P chapter filed a reference with the
The application stated that the BRT project has become a burden on provincial exchequer due to ill planning and poor management and it was
creating difficulties for the residents.PPP application also stated that the mega project was said to be totald in six months with a cost
less than other metro projects but the long waiting project still needs completion and the cost of project has increased due to this
delay.PPP further appealed to the Supreme Court to look into the BRT records and demanded the arrest of those who are involved in
corruption.Earlier this month, a much awaited inquiry report ion the long delayed BRT project was released, that highlighted a multitude of
technical errors, faulty designs and poor planning of the project that has caused losses of billions of rupees to the national
exchequer.Construction on the project began in October 2017, but work on the fixed-rail continues to this day
