INSUBCONTINENT EXCLUSIVE:
NEW DELHI: Shares of Vakrangee (up 4.97 per cent), Vijaya Bank (3.24 per cent) and Sun TV Network (3.03 per cent) jumped over 3 per cent in
morning trade on Monday, appearing among the top gainer stocks, even as equity markets erased gains on selling across sectors.
Stocks such
as DR.Reddy's Laboratories (2.86 per cent), Shriram City Union Finance (up 2.52 per cent), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Chemicals
(2.51 per cent) and Crisil (2.35 per cent) were also among the top gainers on BSE.
Market erased all gains as selling emerged in almost all
sectors, led by bank, FMCG, IT and auto.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 30 points down at 10,666, while the BSE Sensex was down 68 points
at 35,159 around 10 am.
In the Nifty index, 17 stocks were in the green, while 33 were in the red.
In the Nifty index, Dr
Reddy's Laboratories, Mahindra Mahindra and Tech Mahindra were among the top gainers, while HDFC Bank, Indiabulls Housing Finance and Adani
Ports SEZ were among the top losers in the Nifty pack.
