Share market update: FMCG shares trade lower; HUL, ITC among top losers

NEW DELHI: FMCG shares were trading lower in Monday's morning session. Shares of Godrej Industries (down 1.80 per cent), Hindustan Unilever
(down 1.03 per cent), ITC (down 0.95 per cent) and Jubilant Foodworks (down 0.77 per cent) were the top losers in the index. GlaxoSmithKline
Consumer Healthcare (down 0.77 per cent), Procter - Gamble Hygiene - Healthcare (down 0.63 per cent) and Godrej Consumer Products (down 0.62
per cent) too were trading lower
The Nifty FMCG index was trading 0.47 per cent down at 28,891.35 around 10:40 am
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 64.25 points at 11,355 while the BSE Sensex was down 264.84 points at 38,072.17
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Dish TV India, Indian Oil Corp, L-T Fin Holding, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, IDFC First Bank, Vedanta
and BEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
