Stock market update: 234 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 234 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows on NSE in Wednesday's session. Among the stocks that touched their 52-week
lows were Asian Hotels (East), Ambika Cotton Mills, Andhra Bank, Apar Industries, Ashok Leyland, Bajaj Electricals, BASF India, Bharat
Forge, Bharat Gears and Bosch. CARE Ratings, Cox - Kings, Dynamatic Technologies, Eicher Motors, Glenmark Pharma, GTL Infrastructure,
Hinduja Ventures, Vodafone Idea, JK Tyre, Mahindra - Mahindra and Ramco Industries also featured among the stocks that touched their 52-week
lows on NSE. Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 90.50 points down at 11,240.55 while the BSE Sensex was trading 239.62 points
down at 37,743.12
In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC, Bharti Infratel, ZEEL, YES Bank and HUL were among the top gainers on the NSE
However, JSW Steel, Eicher Motors, BPCL, Vedanta and Tata Steel were among the top losers.
