NEW DELHI: Shares of Wheels India (up 20 per cent), Borosil Glass Works (up 13.67 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers (up 11.22 per
cent) surged over 10 per cent on NSE on Tuesday despite weak market sentiment
Shares of Jaiprakash Associates (up 9.09 per cent), UCO Bank (up 7.59 per cent) and V-Mart Retail (up 6.18 per cent) also saw decent
traction on Tuesday.
Equity benchmarks extended their losses for the second consecutive day, weighed down by sustained selling in most
sectors.
The Sensex index lost 262 points, or 0.74 per cent, ending the day at 35,287, with only 4 stocks in the green and 27 in the
red.
