NEW DELHI: Domestic equity market slipped for a second straight session on Tuesday, following weak global cues after the US and China
reignited trade war worries. The BSE Sensex closed 261 points, or 0.74 per cent, down at 35286.74, while NSE Nifty settled 89.40 points, or
0.83 per cent, down at 10,710. As many as 26 stocks in the 30-share index Sensex closed in the red, with Vedanta falling 3.55 per cent,
followed by Mahindra Mahindra (2.23 per cent) and Adani Ports (2 per cent). On the other hand, ITC, ONGC, HDFC Bank and HDFC gained between
markets, as trade spat between the US and China intensified
