NEW DELHI: Most realty stocks, including Indiabulls Real Estate (down 0.95 per cent), Sobha (down 0.94 per cent) and Godrej Properties (down
0.93 per cent) were facing the heat of selling during afternoon trade on Friday.
Shares of Prestige Estates Projects (down 0.91 per cent),
Phoenix Mills (down 0.81 per cent), Oberoi Realty (down 0.14 per cent) and DLF (down 0.10 per cent) also found themselves among the losers
in the index.
The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.48 per cent down at 280 around 12:40 pm
However, Housing Development Infrastructure (HDIL) (up 0.46 per cent) was trading with gains, while Brigade Enterprises and Unitech were
flat.
Domestic stock markets were wobbly in the backdrop of weak global cues
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 10 points at 10,751, while the BSE Sensex was up 39 points at 35,472
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 24 were trading in the green, while 26 were in the red
Bharti Infratel, Mahindra Mahindra, ITC and BPCL were leading among the Nifty gainers.
However, Reliance Industries, Grasim Industries and
UPL were among the top losers in the Nifty pack of stocks.
