KCR springs a surprise; visits clients, docs at Gandhi Medical facility

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Wednesday made a surprise visit to Gandhi Medical facility for the first time along with
finance minister T Harish Rao, in order to boost the spirits of medical professionals, staff and Covid clients there.The Chief Minister
spent nearly an hour at the medical facility, which was converted as a full-time Covid treatment centre, walked around the wards,
communicated with clients, physicians, nurses and examined the treatment and facilities provided to Covid patients
The Chief Minister enquired with the clients about the treatment being provided to them
He gave them confidence that he is there for them
He then walked around the ICUs, emergency, out patient wards and basic wards where the Covid clients were being treated
He went to the beds and spoke with the clients
The Chief Minister likewise enquired about their personal information in addition to their wellbeing.Giving them words of solace and nerve,
the Chief Minister asked whether they were getting the proper treatment and about the quality of food provided to them
The Chief Minister quickly reacted to a few of the problems raised by the patients and gaveinstructions to the medical officers there and
continued his interaction with the clients
Against the backdrop of the state federal government's recent choice to set up oxygen plants in all government hospitals, the Chief Minister
analyzed the oxygen plant set up at the Gandhi Health center
Just recently this plant was established on the instructions of the Chief Minister to supply 2,000 litres of oxygen per minute at the Gandhi
Healthcare facility
He analyzed the plant and asked Gandhi Healthcare facility superintendent Dr Raja Rao on how the plant worked and the pureness of oxygen it
generated.On the occasion, the Chief Minister also engaged with senior doctors, contract nurses and junior medical professionals
He praised them and complimented them for providing services to Corona patients putting their own lives at threat
He stated the government would resolve any problem they were facing and as young physicians they needed to stand by the people in these
troubled and unstable times
The Chief Minister directed the medical and health officials to send out proposals to solve the issues of junior physicians and nurses and
for their instant redressal
