The protest caused traffic congestion in the area as the road was blocked with backhoe loaders.The agitations came after the Lanka IOC and
the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) increased the prices of fuel yet again, amidst the ongoing shortage of fuel and dollar crisis.Lanka
The CPC, mirroring the move, announced its price revision yesterday.
