A police officer has committed suicide by shooting himself with his firearm, in front of the office of the Deputy Inspector-General of
Police (DIG) in Tangalle.The deceased is a sergeant attached to the Tangalle Police, according to Ada Derana correspondent.He is reportedly
a resident of the Weeraketiya area.
