NEW DELHI: The defence ministry on Tuesday provided preliminary approval to three indigenous capital acquisition proposals, involving Helina
anti-tank guided rockets to arm innovative light helicopters, worth Rs 4,276 crore.The Rajnath Singh-led Defence Acquisitions Council (DAC)
also accorded AoN (acceptance of necessity) for procurement of infra-red homing VSHORADS (extremely short range air defence systems) rockets
