In a related development, NIA detained two people in Palghar district of Maharashtra for questioning, sources said.Mohammed Arif, who is in
his late 20s and a native of UP, was picked up by sleuths of the Internal Security Division (ISD) in assistance with central agencies, based
on a tip-off that he was allegedly in touch with al-Qaida and was active on social media groups that discussed issues related to communal
hatred.Arif was produced before a local court and taken into police custody for questioning
He was working from home, sources said, and his two laptops and mobile phones were seized during his arrest
He lives with his wife and two children in the city.Arif came to Bengaluru seven years ago and worked in different companies
