Odia film star Pintu Nanda passes away after acute liver failure

He was initially being treated in a private hospital in Bhubaneswar and was shifted to New Delhi's Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences

Nanda was a well-known face in Odia cinema and television circle for his wide range of roles as hero, villain, character artist and comedian
Pintu Nanda started his acting career in a Doordarshan program and made his film debut in 'Koili' in 1996
Since then the actor had featured in a number of Odia films including 'Dosti', 'Hata Dhari Chalu Tha', 'Rumku Jhumana', 'Wrong Number', and
'Prema Rutu Asigala', to name a few.
