preparing to elect its president, vice-president, 160 congressional deputies, 340 mayors, and 20 members of the Central American Parliament
(Parlacen) on June 25.In the event that no candidate secures an absolute majority, a second round of elections will take place on August 20,
2023.Prior to the Ukraine conflict, Guatemala had significant commercial exchanges with Russia.As the largest economy in Central America,
to strengthen ties between the two countries, fostering potential avenues for cooperation and mutual benefits in the future.
