Over 79,000 foreign tourists visited Nepal in January

Mustang; 72,190 from SAARC countries This marks
a significant increase of 24,026 compared to the same period in 2023, when 55,074 visitors traveled to Nepal, according to data from the
Nepal Tourism Board.Among the notable arrivals, Indian tourists topped the list with 24,139 visitors, a notable increase from the previous
year's figure of 16,436. Additionally, Nepal saw arrivals from various other countries, including 7,267 from China, 7,047
from the United States, and 4,619 from Thailand.The influx also included 3,812 tourists from South Korea, 3,629 from Bangladesh, 3,421 from
Australia, 3,276 from the United Kingdom, 2,229 from Bhutan, and 1,568 from Japan.
