The Supreme Court on Thursday sentenced 10 people to various forms of punishment for different crimes committed in Maidan Wardak
province.&Sentences were passed to punish 10 people, including two women, on charges of theft, adultery, sodomy, and indecency, in Maidan
Wardak province,& read the court statement.The court also said that one person received 39 lashings and five years in prison by the primary
court in Kabul city for theft.This comes two weeks after two prisoners were handed down the &retribution order& and executed publicly in
Ghazni province.The Directorate of Information and Culture of the Islamic Emirate in Ghazni province said in a statement at the time that
the executions were carried out following the decision of three courts and the approval by the supreme leader of the Islamic Emirate.The
