10 children dead in IED surges in Ghazni and Herat provinces

Ten children died and five others were injured in two separate explosions from unexploded ordnance from wars in Ghazni and Herat
provinces.According to reports, 9 children died after a mine exploded in Giro district in Ghazni province.Hamidullah Nisar, head of
information and culture in Ghazni, said the incident happened on Sunday evening while a group of children were playing with the mine.Another
child died and five more were injured in a separate explosion in Herat province.Local sources in Herat said this incident happened on Sunday
evening in Khowaja Talkhtan village of Rabat Sangi district.The injured have been transferred to the Herat regional hospital.The post 10
