International Amnesty urges Pakistan to halt expulsion of Afghan migrants

The International Amnesty Organization has demanded the halt of Afghan migrants& eviction by the Pakistani government, stating, &Pakistan
must desist from ignoring global requests to cease the unlawful deportation of Afghan refugees.&The organization on Thursday said in a
statement citing an immigration rights advocate, wrote that Pakistan&s decision to intensify the expulsion of Afghan migrants illegally
contradicts international human rights laws and jeopardizes their lives.The organization added that the newly elected government in Pakistan
has emphasized the intensification of the expulsion of illegal Afghan migrants and intends to extend this process after Ramadan.According to
this human rights organization, the lives of 800,000 Afghan migrants are seriously endangered by Pakistan&s new decision during the month of
Ramadan.&We urge Pakistani authorities to immediately revoke these decisions and promptly enact laws in line with human rights to protect
the rights of refugees in the country,& the statement added.Last year, the Pakistani government issued orders for the expulsion of over a
million undocumented Afghan migrants and set a one-month deadline. It is worth noting that about half of these migrants have returned to
