[Sri Lanka] - Court orders for seized luxury automobiles to be handed over to Customs

imported by submitting false information to the Department of Motor Traffic, to be handed over to Sri Lanka Customs.Investigations by the
Bribery Commission have revealed that the government lost approximately Rs
300 million in tax revenue due to the illegal importation of these vehicles, which are estimated to be worth around Rs
600 million.The Bribery Commission had taken these vehicles into its custody based on court orders previously issued in relation to the
investigations after accepting the facts presented by the Bribery Commission.
