According to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA), floods have threatened
the areas near the rivers in Kathmandu with erosion and inundation.The Hanumante River in Bhaktapur and the Bagmati River in the southern
region of Kathmandu have reached nearby settlements. Officials have reported that one person died, two people went missing,
and many houses, infrastructure, and highways were damaged by Saturday afternoon as a result of the continuous downpour that began Friday
night in most parts of the country.According to MoHA, one person died while being treated for serious injuries sustained when a landslide
destroyed the kitchen of a restaurant in Kathmandu's Nagarjun Municipality
According to the police, two people are missing as a result of floods in Dolakha and Dang.Jangmu Sherpa, 64, has gone missing, and three
houses have been swept away in Gaurishankar Rural Municipality in Dolakha district

Highway in Anbu Khaireni and Myagde of Tanhu have also been blocked by landslides.Likewise, the road sections in Pyuthan, Palpa, Gulmi,
Arghakhanchi, Rolpa, Dang, Kalikot, Bajhang, Darchula and Achham have been blocked by landslides.
