Monsoon-induced casualties higher in Koshi, Gandaki, and Lumbini

KATHMANDU, JULY 11Koshi, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces have suffered the most human
losses during this year's monsoon.

From June 10 to July 11, 88 people have died in the country, with the highest casualties
recorded in these three provinces.Gandaki province experienced the most significant losses, with 25 fatalities, followed by 23 in Lumbini
province and 19 in Koshi province, according to Nepal Police Spokesperson, Deputy Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki.
As per the information provided by Nepal Police, one person died in Kathmandu Valley, four in Madhes Province, five in Bagmati
Province, four in Karnali Province, and seven in Sudurpaschim Province.Additionally, 106 people have been injured across the country, with
six people still reported missing
Furthermore, 176 houses have been inundated due to floods, and 3,462 families have been displaced due to the disaster so far.
