[Afghanistan] - Relentless rain forces Day 3 of Afghanistan-New Zealand Test to be cancelled

INSUBCONTINENT EXCLUSIVE:
The third day of the one-off Test between Afghanistan and New Zealand was called off once again following another bout of persistent rain
outside Delhi on Wednesday. The Test, scheduled to have started Monday at the Greater Noida Sports Complex has been a non-starter from the
beginning. With no play possible on either of the first two days, and the toss yet to happen, the chances of a result in the first ever Test
between these sides is slim. After a downpour on Tuesday night and another early Wednesday, the umpires Sharfuddoula and Kumar Dharmasena
called off the day even before the scheduled start at 9.30 am.The broadcasters meanwhile said that &the outlook is quite grim for not just
today, but potentially all five days of the Test match&.There has been criticism lodged about the choice of venue and its capacity to
recover from bad weather, but the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) cricket manager Menhajuddin Raz sent out a message on Wednesday saying
&there is no blame game at all from anyone, it&s just extremely bad luck.&This is only Afghanistan&s tenth match since gaining full Test
status in 2017.Officials say they will once again assess the field early Thursday.  The post Persistent rain forces Day 3 of
