A decision was made to form a negotiation team, led by the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, to represent the
government in discussions regarding the loan.During Thursday's meeting of the Council of Ministers, this decision was made, according to the
Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung. Additionally, the Cabinet has approved the
Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) to become a member of the Global Alliance on Corruption Control.Secretary
Ghimire appointed Chairman of EPFThe government has appointed Dinesh Kumar Ghimire, Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, as Chairman of the
Employees Provident Fund (EPF), assigning him additional responsibilities in this role.Moreover, Govinda Gurung, CEO of the Agricultural

approved the acquisition of approximately eight bighas of land for constructing tower pads for the 132-kV Lahan-Sukhipur Transmission Line
Project and the 132-kV Rupani-Bodebarsain Transmission Line Project.Similarly, two bighas of land will be acquired for the 132-kV
Nepalgunj-Nanpara Transmission Line Project.The Cabinet has also approved the use of 12.67 hectares of national forest land in Nawalparasi
for the 132-kV Bhumahi-Hakoi Transmission Line Project, and 51.87 hectares of forest land in Makawanpur for the construction of the
Kathmandu-Tarai-Madhes Expressway Project.Rs 600 million loan to DDCThe Cabinet meeting decided to provide a Rs 600 million loan to the
Dairy Development Corporation (DDC) to clear its outstanding payments to farmers.Additionally, the Cabinet has approved a proposal to host
the BIMSTEC Ministerial-level and Agriculture-related High Officials' Third Meeting in Nepal on March 27 and 28, 2025.
