According to the US Embassy in
Kathmandu, this particular exercise promotes humanitarian assistance and disaster response capacity-building by facilitating military,
civilian, and NGO cooperation and improving search and rescue collaboration between our two countries."The training focused on key skills
such as aeromedical evacuation, infectious disease control, and patient movement

disaster response training," reads the social media post.
The exercise also featured expert exchanges on aircraft
maintenance, aircrew operations, personnel recovery in adverse terrain, swift water and flood recovery, patient movement, and medical
responses to hazardous materials.Similarly, the Nepali Army stated in a press release that for a long time, various exercises in disaster
management and humanitarian assistance have been conducted between the Nepali Army and the United States Army with the goal of improving
disaster response capability
"These exercises have allowed for the exchange of expertise and the enhancement of military professional capacity," reads the
statement."Various related exercises were conducted in Kathmandu, Makwanpur, and Dhading districts during the fourth edition of the
exercise, which began in 2012."
