[Nepal] - 132 dead in floods, landslides, and disasters: Home Ministry

KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 29The number of people killed due to flood, landslide,
inundation and natural disaster incidents has reached 132, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

monsoon-induced disasters The Ministry said that
so far 68 people have been killed due to disaster incidents in Kathmandu Valley, 45 in Bagmati province, 17 in Koshi province and two in
Madhes province.Similarly, 64 people have gone missing and 61 have sustained injuries due to the disaster-related incidents.
Three thousand six hundred and twenty-six people have been safely rescued throughout the country with the active participation of the
security forces, the Ministry stated
One hundred and ninety-three people at risk of flood, landslide and natural disaster have been rescued at various places of Kavrepalanchok
by Nepali Army helicopter since today morning
The Nepali Army troops have been mobilized since two days for rescuing citizens who are at high risk.Home Ministry spokesperson Rishiram
Tiwari said all the apparatuses have been mobilized to open the road sections of highways damaged by the disaster.The security forces are
actively carrying out rescue and relief works and taking the injured persons to hospitals for treatment.
