To date, 239 fatalities have been confirmed, with 18 individuals still missing following
last week's floods and landslides.A total of 178 people sustained injuries in the disaster, according to Rishiram Tiwari, spokesperson for
the Ministry of Home Affairs.
In response efforts, 17,120 individuals have been rescued from flood- and landslide-affected
areas, while relief support is being mobilized for survivors.Additionally, work is underway to repair highways and roads damaged by the
