Tanahun campus building constructed with Indian financial support inaugurated

Municipality, Tanahun, was inaugurated today
The building, funded by the Government of India under the 'Nepal-India Development Cooperation' program, was completed at a total cost of
NPR 30.01 million.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Avinash Kumar Singh, First
Secretary at the Embassy of India in Kathmandu, Shanti Raman Wagle, Chief of the District Coordination Committee, Tanahun, and Shukra
Chuman, Chairman of Aanbookhaireni Rural Municipality.The double-storeyed campus building, equipped with essential facilities, was
constructed as a High Impact Community Development Project (HICDP) under an agreement between the governments of India and Nepal
The project was implemented by the District Coordination Committee, Tanahun
Political representatives, government officials, social workers, professors, teachers, parents, and students were also present at the
ceremony. In their remarks, local leaders and campus representatives expressed their gratitude to the Government of India
for its continuous developmental support, particularly in priority sectors like education, which uplift the lives of the people in Nepal.
