Pivithuru Hela Urumaya (PHU) leader and previous MP Udaya Gammanpila states that he prepares to introduce a project to collect signatures
for a public petition, in order to notify the President of the general publics displeasure over the misuse of the law.Speaking at a press
conference today (30 ), he slammed the government for keeping Secretary to the Ministry of Public Security Ravi Seneviratne and Shani
Abeysekera, who he claims have actually been named as main implicated in an investigative committee report on the Easter Sunday
attacks.Since the elimination will not be done, we are intending to sign a public petition to inform the president about peoples displeasure
associated to the misuse of the law by (NPP govt) throughout their first month in office, who slammed previous presidents for misusing the
law, the former Minister added.Gammanpila even more revealed his plan to reach out to the community in different places to gather public
discontent towards the National Peoples Power to include in the said public petition.
