Pakistan amends law to extend powerful army chief's service period

Pakistan on Monday passed a change to a law that will extend the regards to the heads of the militaries to five years from 3, in a rowdy

said.Khan & rsquo; s party & rsquo; s lawmakers opposed the bill throughout the sessions and some tore apart copies of it.Under the new law,
General Munir, who took workplace in November 2022 with a timeline to retire in 2025, will serve up until 2027 regardless of a retirement
age of 64 for a general.The previous prime minister, who has remained in prison since August in 2015, has been at chances with generals he
