Sumathi Dharmawardena, Presidents Counsel and the freshly appointed Independent Chair of the ICCs ACU and Mr
Alex Marshall, General Manager of the ICC Integrity Unit.During the conversation, Mr
Alex Marshall kept in mind Sri Lankas development in combating corruption in cricket over the past 7 years, highlighting the value of player
education and reinforcing the Ministry of Sports Special Investigations, according to the PMs Office.The meeting was also participated in by
Andrew Ephgrave, Senior Manager, of ICC ACU Operations; Mr
Vije Bandara, Senior Attorney and Director General of Legal at the Presidents Office; Mrs
Illeperuma, Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Sports; and Prof
Shemal Fernando, Director General of Sports.
