In the very first occurrence, a 17-year-old was fatally hurt when a bus hit the back of a motorbike on the Sevanagala-Divulgas Junction
road.The mishap took place as a bus taking a trip towards Divulgas Junction struck a bike heading from Gamunupura to Laksirigama.Both the
motorcyclist and the pillion rider were seriously hurt, and the pillion rider caught injuries after being admitted to Sevanagala Hospital.In
a different event, a 19-year-old youth was eliminated in Mulendiyawala when a motorbike hit the trailer of a hand tractor on the
Mulendiyawala-Malapalawa road.The victim was a citizen of Embilipitiya, Mulendiyawala.
