Sri Lanka Police states a comprehensive security program has been prepared to guarantee public security throughout the upcoming Christmas
and New Year festive season.Speaking to the media, Police Spokesman SSP Buddhika Manathunga specified that over 6,500 officers have been
released in the Western Province alone to preserve security and order.Additionally, more than 500 policemans dressed in civilian clothes
will be stationed near religious websites and crowded shopping locations to keep an eye on and identify prospective criminal activities.A
special security programme will also be carried out island wide to secure spiritual places of praise, including Catholic churches.We need
