[China] - Online platform for reporting 'Taiwan self-reliance' gets 323 emails

on Wednesday, a total of 323 reporting emails have been received by the online platform released by the Chinese mainland earlier on
Wednesday for the general public to report acts by those promoting Taiwan independence and their accomplices persecuting Taiwan
compatriots, a mainland representative said on Wednesday.Among those reported are certain Taiwan political figures, company sponsors and
internet influencers promoting Taiwan self-reliance, said Chen Binhua, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State
Council.Their egregious activities, such as suppression of the opposition party through baseless charges, intimidation to liquify companies
in support of Chinas reunification and blatant violation on the genuine rights and interests of mainland-born spouses living in Taiwan, are
exposed in the e-mails, he said.Chen stated appropriate authorities of the mainland will take truths as the basis and the law as the
requirement, and hold the perpetrators and accomplices of Taiwan independence activities responsible.(With input from Xinhua)
