Xi Jinping sends condolences after deadly Myanmar quake

Chinese government and the Chinese people, he extended condolences to the families of the deceased and sincere sympathy to those injured and
affected by the disaster.Noting that China and Myanmar are a community with a shared future through thick and thin and the two peoples enjoy
deep "pauk-phaw" friendship, Xi said China is ready to provide Myanmar with the assistance it needs to support the people in the affected
areas to overcome the disaster and rebuild their homes as soon as possible.On the same day, Chinese Premier Li Qiang also extended
condolences to Min Aung Hlaing.A magnitude-7.7 earthquake struck Myanmar on Friday afternoon, according to Myanmar's State Administration
Council.Official reports indicated that the earthquake caused power outages and disrupted mobile networks, with some areas of Yangon
experiencing no mobile signal
Many buildings were damaged, and rescue operations are underway.
