The PLA Eastern Theater Command on Tuesday arranged its vessel and airplane formations, in coordination with standard missile soldiers and
long-range rocket introducing systems, to perform drills of air interception, assault on maritime targets, strikes on ground things, and
joint blockade and control, in waters to the north, south and east of Taiwan Island, the command stated in a statement.The drills are aimed
at evaluating the troops capabilities of carrying out incorporated operations, seizure of functional control and multi-directional accuracy
strikes, according to the statement
