to the Lao Embassy in China to mourn the death of Khamtay Siphandone, previous president of Laos and former chairman of the Lao Peoples
Revolutionary Party (LPRP)
Wang, likewise a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, wrote in the condolence book and expressed deep
acknowledgements for the death of Khamtay.Comrade Khamtay is an exceptional leader of the older generation of the Lao party and state and
has made essential contributions to the development of relations in between China and the Laos, Wang said.He added that China is ready to
work with the Lao side to promote developing a China-Laos neighborhood with a shared future, guided by the essential consensus reached by
the top leaders of the 2 celebrations and the two countries.
