NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.72 per cent up at 320 around 12:30 pm (IST) on Monday, backed by gains in shares of
Indiabulls Real Estate (up 2.81 per cent) and Oberoi Realty (up 2.03 per cent).
Shares of Prestige Estates Projects (up 1.35 per cent),
Brigade Enterprises (up 0.57 per cent), Sobha (up 0.39 per cent), Godrej Properties (up 0.26 per cent) and DLF (up 0.09 per cent) were also
in the green.
However, Housing Development Infrastructure (HDIL) (down 4.84 per cent), Unitech (down 1.68 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (down
0.17 per cent) were in the red around that time.
Equity benchmarks were trading up on buying across sectors amid positive global cues.
The
NSE Nifty50 index was up 57 points at 10,750, while the BSE Sensex was up 201 points at 35,171.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 37
were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red
YES Bank, Vedanta, Hindustan Unilever, Tata Consultancy Services and State Bank of India were among the top gainers in the Nifty
index.
However, Axis Bank, UPL, Reliance Industries, Bharti Infratel and Indian Oil Corporation were among the top losers in the Nifty
