The airline said that due to flooding, the airport will remain closed till at least Wednesday, August 29, 2018
Giving details of the impacted flights, which were previously scheduled to be operated through the Cochin International Airport, Kochi,
Vistara said: "We will, however, be operating our COK (Kochi) flights to and from TRV (Trivandrum) Terminal 1 during this period in order to
UK882 and UK886 COK-DEL, UK774 Chennai (MAA)-COK, UK731 COK-MAA, all of which have been cancelled for the period August 15 through August 29
The airline said the customers with bookings of the impacted flights have the option of flying to and from Trivandrum (TRV) instead through
a rebooking, taking full refund without paying any cancellation charges, or use the existing booking within 10 days of opening of the Cochin
airport without paying any change (reschedule) fee.2
The options will be applicable to customers with bookings to and from Kochi in the period from August 15 to August 29 (both dates inclusive)
In this case, the customer will not be charged any fee or fare difference
opens: Vistara said the customer can cancel the existing booking, get a full refund, and make a fresh booking for a future date
For using the existing booking after 10 days of opening of the airport, the customer will not be charged a change fee
However, the fare difference, if any, will be applicable, it noted.Vistara had earlier this month moved its Kochi operations to Trivandrum,
after suspension of operations at the Kochi airport.
