This was said by State Bank of India (SBI) on microblogging site Twitter
May 13 is also the last date for payment of fees
Online registration of applications for POs as well as payment of fees opened on April 21, according to SBI's corporate website -

Mode of application: The applications need to be submitted online
No other mode of application will be accepted, according to the SBI website.2
Eligibility: Applicants are required to have completed graduation "in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent
qualification recognised as such by the Central Government"
Candidates possessing qualification of Chartered Accountant can also apply
Those who are in the final year or semester of their graduation can also apply provisionally
However, if called for interview, such a candidate will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before
August 31, 2018, according to SBI
Candidates having an IDD or Integrated Dual Degree certificate should ensure that the date of passing is on or before August 31, 2018.(Also

Age limit: The candidate is required not to be under 21 years of age and not above 30 years of age on April 1
"Candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.1997 and not earlier than 02.04.1988 (both days inclusive," SBI noted
Before applying, candidates are requested to ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for the post as on the date of eligibility,
SBI said on its website.5
Salary: SBI is offering a starting basic pay of Rs 27,620 (with 4 advance increments)
Among other specifications, the bank said: "The total compensation per annum on CTC basis be a minimum of 8.20 lacs and maximum of 13.08

Registration fee: Candidates applying in the general or OBC (Other Backward Class) categories need to pay a fee of Rs 600
Those applying under SC, ST or PWD (Persons with Disabilities) categories need to pay Rs 100 (intimation charges only), according to SBI
The registration process is complete only when fee is deposited before the last date
This payment is to be made online.7
Vacancies: SBI is recruiting 2,000 candidates under general (1,010), SC (300), ST (150) and OBC (540) categories
Additionally, the bank is recruiting 118 candidates under PWD category.8
Examination: The selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a three-tier process
The process will comprise an online preliminary examination, an online main examination and interview, followed by final selection, in that
order.9
Important dates: The last date for online registration - including editing of application - as well as payment of application fees or
intimation charges is May 13
Called 'Preliminary 1', the first online examination will be conducted on July 1, July 7 and July 8, 2018
The main online examination will be conducted on August 4
Group exercises and interviews will be conducted from September 24 to October 12, 2018
The final result will be declared on November 1, according to SBI.10
On joining, the selected candidates will be on probation for two years, SBI mentioned.
