WASHINGTON: Airspace was closed over part of the state of Montana on Saturday and a fighter jet was sent to investigate a radar anomaly but the aircraft did not discover anything unusual in the sky, the United States military said.North American air defense identified a radar abnormality and sent out fighter aircraft to investigate.
Those airplane did not recognize any object to correlate to the radar strikes, a declaration from the North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command said.Officials will continue to keep an eye on the circumstance, the statement included, just hours after a joint US-Canadian operation shot down an item over the Yukon area in Canada.
