LALITPUR: Brilliant lights are to be installed at the main roads of Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC) in order to ease the movement of people and vehicles during the night.The smart lights are to be installed with collaboration between Lalitpur Metropolitan City and Nepal Electricity Authority.Spokesperson at LMC, Raju Maharjan, said that smart lights would be installed at five main roads of the area msprint; Kupandole to Lagankhel via Pulchok, Pulchok to Gwarko via Mangalbazaar, Kupandole to Mangalbazaar via Patan Dhoka, Ekantakuna to Bungamati, and Satdobato to Dhapakhel.Brilliant lights are different than regular street lights.
With sensors installed, they turn on automatically when people and vehicles move shutby and turn off automatically when no movement is detected.
