Kathmandu, July 15 An advocacy diffusion workshop on family planning started here from today.The five-day event will advocate for the delivery of transformative health care solutions for reproductive health and family planning in the Asia Region.The workshop includes representatives from the Philippines, Myanmar, Indonesia, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Kenya and the United States.The participants will mainly discuss issues of family planning.The workshop organised by Jhpiego, a non-profit organisation, aims to advocate reproductive health and family planning for the healthier future of women and their families.On the first day of the event, the participants discussed ways to work with the government, health experts and local communities.
They also focused on enhancing health service providers& skills and developing health support system to save the lives of the marginalised and disadvantaged people.At the workshop, the participants highlighted the family planning situation of Nepal and other countries.The workshop further emphasised the need to seek government support to address issues related with family planning, including budgetary issues.
