LAHORE: The Accountability COurt on Saturday extended judicial remand of Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Khawaja Salman Rafique in Ashiana Housing Scheme case till March 4.Tight security arrangements were made on their seemance, with shipping containers placed external the court to shut the roads.The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) produced the Khawaja brothers before the court after their remand run outd.It was their seventh seemance in the court during which Accountability Court Jugde informed Najmul Hassan conducted the hearing.The court asked the NAB what happened to reference against the Khawaja brothers.The investigator told the court that the reference against the suspects would be produced before the completion of 90 days.The court asked the investigators to submit a final report into the case against Khawaja brothers and approved NAB's request to extend their judicial remand.Khawaja brothers were taken into custody on December 11 in Asihan Iqbal Housing scheme.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
